• The Stacker and Reclaimer Operator (ST/RE) must be proficient in general procedures and regulations set by the government, industry, and plant.

• During shifts, the ST/RE Operator is responsible for managing and operating the stacker and reclaimer equipment. Main duties include:

  • Operating stacker equipment to store coal in the stockyard and reclaimer equipment to transport coal from the stockyard to conveyor belts as instructed by the Fuel Control System Operator.
  • Monitoring the operational condition of stacker/reclaimer equipment to promptly address potential issues.
  • Regularly inspecting and monitoring the operation of the water pumping system in the coal stockyard area.
  • Regularly inspecting and monitoring the operation of the misting and dust suppression system in the two coal stockyards.
  • Regularly inspecting and monitoring the operation of the service water system in the coal stockyard area.
  • Managing and operating the power supply system for the coal stockyard.
  • Supervising coal stockyard maintenance and repair activities.
  • Monitoring the fire protection system in the coal stockyard under their management.
  • Handling minor faults and incidents with the stacker/reclaimer equipment. Overseeing regular maintenance procedures, including lubrication, as per established guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
  • Promptly reporting to the Fuel Control System Operator, Boiler-Fuel Team Leader, and Shift Leader regarding faults or incidents beyond the operator’s ability to resolve.

• The ST/RE Operator is directly responsible for implementing Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures, safety measures, and task handover processes for assigned equipment.

• In the event of major incidents causing equipment damage or endangering human safety, the ST/RE Operator must write a detailed incident report alongside other involved operators immediately after the shift. Participation in incident review meetings is required.

• The ST/RE Operator is expected to regularly clean and maintain assigned equipment and the workplace, ensuring the proper handling of operational logs and technical documents.

• Continuous learning and knowledge enhancement are essential to fulfill assigned responsibilities effectively.

The ST/RE Operator is responsible for managing and operating the following systems and equipment:

• 4 Reclaimers.

• 2 Stackers.

• Dust suppression misting systems for two coal stockyards.

• Power supply system for the coal stockyard.

• Fire protection systems in the coal stockyard area.

• Wastewater collection system in the coal stockyard.

• Performs additional tasks as assigned by direct supervisors and the Board of Directors.
