PV Power Services and PEMS sign a cooperation agreement

(PetroTimes) - On August 27, in Hanoi, Vietnam Petroleum Power Technical Services Joint Stock Company (PV Power Services) and Asia Networks PEMS (PEMS) signed a cooperation agreement to provide expert personnel and maintenance and repair services for thermal power plants, petrochemical plants, and the Oil & Gas sector in Vietnam.

Attending the ceremony, from PV Power Services were Mr. Bùi Duy Nhị - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Vũ Anh Tuấn - Director of the Company; along with the leadership of the Board of Directors and Heads of Departments.

From PEMS, Mr. Lee Kyu Sang - Chairman of the Board and CEO of PEMS; Mrs. Hoàng Thị Kiều - CEO of EMTEK; along with representatives from the Board of Directors and the Heads of the Northern Region Department.

The cooperation agreement between PV Power Services and PEMS marks an important milestone in providing expert personnel and maintenance and repair services for thermal power plants, petrochemical plants, and the Oil & Gas sector in Vietnam. This is a strategic step that not only affirms the position of both units in the technical services industry but also opens new opportunities for sustainable development in line with Vietnam's National Green Growth Strategy for the period 2021-2030, with a vision toward 2050.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Lee Kyu Sang - Chairman of the Board and CEO of PEMS emphasized that PEMS and PV Power Services will provide the best technical services in maintenance, troubleshooting, spare parts, while also implementing the Secured Stock Program (SSP). Additionally, both parties will expand activities to provide retrofit and upgrade services for existing coal-fired power plants, along with solutions to reduce carbon emissions through the application of advanced technologies such as digitalization from major partners like Doosan, Babcock & Wilcock, Toshiba, etc.

Mr. Bùi Duy Nhị, Chairman of PV Power Services, affirmed: "The signing of this cooperation agreement not only helps PV Power Services expand its service capabilities but also creates opportunities to access international expert teams and advanced global technologies.
